We swapped leaflet drops for a Pay Per Click Facebook campaign to attract new talent to Reading Blue Coat School.

Reading Blue Coat School were preparing to hire a team to leaflet drop in the local area as part of their recruitment drive. We suggested a change of direction and set them up with a Facebook Pay Per Click advertising campaign that would save them weeks and allow them to target a more specific audience.

We were able to hone in on demographics like job title, age, location, employer and interests, reaching only the most suitable candidates. After agreeing on an advertising budget with the school, we monitored and adjusted the campaign until we began to see results. We swapped an uncertain outcome and weeks of work with a new approach that resulted in two successful hires.

In an attempt to try something different to tackle hard to fill vacancies from within the local population, we took up Ambleglow’s suggestion to try a Facebook campaign to find Cleaners. It enabled us to target a specific local audience and generated quite a lot of interest from which we did recruit someone! We’ll certainly try it again.
