Facebook Apprentice Campaign
Coastline Housing is an independent not-for-profit housing association, owning and managing over 4,100 homes and employing over 250 staff.
They were looking to do a recruitment drive for apprentices in various areas of the business – to generate interest and drive candidates to their company website to find out more and to apply. In addition to a standard online listing on the local newspaper website, we created a Facebook campaign to target candidates within the desired location and apprenticeship age range (18-24 years). Previous experience enabled us to provide advice on opening up the age range, to include ages up to 54 years, as it was thought likely that parents and older family members might recommend the roles to potential candidates within the target age group.
Post-campaign statistics were very promising; the 16 day campaign reached 30,173 people and generated over 1,000 clicks, as well as an extra 20 likes to Coastline’s own Facebook page. Our advice on opening up the age range was validated when results showed that the age group that performed the most amount of activity was 35-44 year olds.
Overall the recruitment drive produced 15 applications and 9 shortlisted candidates.
