Welmede is a person-centred housing and support organisation who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to pursue their chosen lifestyle as independently as possible. Their service teams were struggling to attract Support Workers; not only due a national shortage in the UK, but also because their brand isn’t well known in Surrey. They asked us to refresh their recruitment advertising strategy and modernise the look and feel of their communications.
After carrying out research with Welmede’s current staff into how their employer brand is perceived - this feedback formed the basis for our engaging new campaign concepts that could be adapted for use with any media campaign format.
Media strategy involved a more targeted approach using a combination of job board targeted emails, social media PPC advertising, leaflet drops to local towns, outdoor advertising on buses, petrol pumps and branded merchandise to further their recruitment message.
Our approach has proved very successful for Welmede and to date, application numbers and candidate quality have risen considerably.
